Evolution of fire models for estimating structural fire-resistance

Many fire models have been proposed to investigate structural response fire, where is considered as a “load” and the determines “resistance” offered by structure. Where term used with its physical meaning not restrained standard application. Over course of time, evolved from simply using highest gas temperatures resulting fully developed compartment more sophisticated computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models, hyper-realistic time-varying can be determined for range realistic scenarios.
